Is any extra money I could possibly get beyond my salary, mine to keep the day of my file date or discharge date? What I'm asking is, if I were to win $$$ money from say playing bingo or any type games, do I need to notify the court after I file?

I believe that you must notify your attorney of gambling earnings or monies from an inheritance for some period after filing, but I don't remember where I got the info. -
I think the rule is up to six months post discharge.....if I recall correctly. But we're not talking about $500 you may win at the casino but rather substantial amounts i.e. thousands.....Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008
