When to check Pacer?

Ok so I filed CH7 on December 1st 2009 and had my 341 meeting on January 14 2010 took both of the credit classes. I checked Pacer and nothing yet, when do they update it late afternoon? Should I check it tomorrow again?

What are you checking it for? Your discharge? If it's your discharge, sure, check it every afternoon, but don't do any docket lookups. Just search by your case number or SSN and you won't incur any charges! Just look at the top of the screen to see if it reads "discharged:" and/or "joint debtor discharged:"

Many times because of the backlog of cases it can take 4 or more months.
Be patient, if there was something wrong you would be notified. It's coming, enjoy the stay and its silence from creditors

I just checked pacer today and now it says, Awaiting Closeing. How close am I?

Did you check the first screen after you searched? You know, where it has you name and dates about your case? Does it have a date that reads "discharged"?

What screen are you looking at, the status screen or case summary?

click on history, it will show the last entry. If it says discharged, go find angelinacat and ask her to warm up the hampsters
