Almost a year, and still not closed...

So, we filed 10-2009, case was discharged, TT filed final papers, but case is still open. The ONLY asset we had was our 2009 Tax refund, which the TT received back in Feb and distributed and filed Orders of distribution and the judge ok'd the distributions. PACER shows last filing of final docs on 6-23-10 and we are still open. Does this impact us in any way? I feel like we can't move on until this is closed. When I check PACER, it appears that our TT doesn't close cases because when I look back to longer than a year, her asset cases are still open. Why do you think this is??????

It is the Clerk of the Court's job to close the case after the Trustee files a Final Report and Accounting. If such a report was filed, call the Clerk of the Court and inquire as to what the hold up is.
