can I tell on Pacer if petition was filed?

Attorney's answer was my secretary usually gets it done before end of month. Well, thanks big guy - how about giving me a REAL answer?


I have signed up for Pacer - can I find it with just my name?


Considering that I did the work for him and had to revise 3 times due to administrative errors and no one in his office ever reviewed

what they typed,I trust nobody at this point!!!

And if it didn't get done - I will have to wait months because of a commission received in Nov!!!

That is how I found mine... You can look it up with your name if you know the district you filed in...

Yes, you can look it up by your name. I hope that it WAS filed. You will also get your case number if your petition is there. Please let us know how it goes...

You can also look your case up by your social security number.

You could also call the secretary and ask her.

I think entering your social security number is the safest way to query, but I haven't used the name option.

The voice case information system number is quick, after you get used to the menu.
It works better if you allow Ms. computer voice to completely finish her sentences before you say your choice of court, then choice of menu number. The phone case info was available the same day as the case was filed.
