    Post discharge collection attempt....

I have a question, I thought once you filed and were discharged, creditors were not allowed to try to collect money from you.

I received a letter demanding money for expenses accrued after I was discharged.

    Please advise.

If this was a debt discharged in your BK, no it is not allowed. Who is the creditor? Is it the original creditor or a CA? Whichever, it should be an easy fix. Check your credit reports though and see if it's reporting. Sometimes BK'd debts are sold before the BK status is caught up.

I had 3 JDB accounts show up on my CRs like 6 mos. post-discharge.

Sounds like a post petition debt to me. Is this a HOA? We need details.
