    Hello everyone. I got notice today that my 341 meeting has been scheduled for August 1st. I'm nervous but at the same time glad that things are progressing and it just means I'll be one step closer to a new start.

    Along with the notice, my lawyer also said i had to complete a financial management course. Hopefully it will be more worthwhile the the pre-bankruptcy counceling which was a complete farce and waste of $50.00. Can anyone suggest a reputable site I can do this online? Thanks in advance.

    Since Congress in its infinite wisdom has decreed that you must complete the counseling before discharge, check out Hummingbird Credit Counseling at http://www.hummingbirdcreditcounseli...sec=Bankruptcy , then click on the PostBankruptcy link. . They do a better job than most of the agencies imho.

        I havent taken it yet, but my attorney says its just BS no biggie.....
        I will go to COMPASS and it is also 25.00 there.
