Totally Cool! Pulled my FICOS today

I have a lovely friend that works for a mortgage company that helped me out.

They are MUCH better, and MUCH higher than TrueCredit says!

    Equifx- 628 TC: 627
    TransUnion-627 TC: 598
    Experian 600 TC: 587

    HOORAY!

This makes me feel SOOOO much better.

It was worth the hard pull to get this!

    They are all above 600!

        A start?!

        Hah.

This is 2 years worth of fighting with creditors, credit bureaus, and reestablishing my credit.

When I started my scores were in the high 400's! YIKES.

It took you 2 years to reach 600 FICO after a BK?

2 years is not that surprising or out of the question. If creditors and credit bureaus do not cooperate with you, then getting the scores up over 600 could take this long.

            Great job tin!

Considering I only had about a year and a half worth of credit to my name when I filed, I don't think it should be that surprising....

Not to mention I have had a LOT of struggles with four of my creditors.....

What types of problems did you have?

We pulled ours last week as a pre-emptive strike. All but Bank of America was showing it as IIB. I filed the online complaints and 36 hours later they were updated. Scores ranged from 520-600 and we aren't even discharged yet. No collections (we had none).

Ironically my spouses credit is just a wee bit lower now than before she ever even when late on a charge. The balances alone had her down around 600-620 which is plus or minus 5-10% of where she was after IIB.

With approval from the trustee my spouse also just set up a secured CC for business use and was approved from Orchard FWIW. It's 100% secured by a cash balance.

That's very surprising and alarming that you went belly up only with 1 1/2 years of credit established!

It's also very surprising to go through a divorce from an alcoholic and porn addict at 21 also. Try finding out a YEAR later that he has wracked up nearly $15000 in debt in YOUR name leaving you no choice but to file.....
