    Buying A Home? Could We?

We are in our 20th month of a 36 month plan, our rent is really high and our utility bills are out of this world (old house, ceiling heat and bad wiring).
We have been looking at manufatured homes that are already in parks, we figured we could save about 500 a month. They are about $39,000 for a really nice 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and the park rent is like 375. Is this feasible? It would be, I am guessing around 7 to 8 hundred a month, which is a lot less than we are paying now.
Anyone have any advice on this? We are sinking again, and I am stressing out so much from this crap, I want out and a way to lower our cost of just surviving! Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Have you checked your credit reports in detail to see what's showing on there? Are your on-time mortgage payments being reported by your mortgage company? (Some won't report while you are in bankruptcy.) Are there errors that you can correct? Are all the accounts listed yours or your husband's?

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Yes, I checked both and there is nothing new or anything. We don't have a mortgage or a car payment, maybe that is what is hurting us, no revolving credit or a mortgage we are paying on. All our debt was credit cards and medical bills.
