Confused but the question is quick...

    341 set in Nov.
Objections for discharge due by Jan 14.

Question...I thought the creditors had only 60 days to respond.
And what is the confirmation hearing for...that's in December.

Chapter 13's work differently than chapter 7's.

I will let others explain the "basics" of the chapter 13 process.

Ch 13 allows 90 days after the 341 for creditors to file a claim to be paid back by the plan. The govt (typically the IRS) gets 120 days to file a Ch 13 claim.

The Ch 13 confirmation hearing usually is scheduled about 3-4 weeks after your 341 meeting. You don't have to attend this meeting, but your lawyer does. This is where your Ch 13 plan is officially confirmed (or rarely, not confirmed) by your trustee. The confirmation hearing happens in front of your local bk court's bankruptcy judge.

      Hope this helps!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
