10 years here... CH 7 bankruptcy is now officially a closed chapter

It's been a long time since I posted here. But here I am, 10 years has now past, and I'm on the other side.

One year past discharge... score in mid 600's. Capital One issued me a regular, unsecured credit card. I'll always be loyal to that Company.

Several years past discharge to year 9... score in low to mid 700's.

I'm now one month shy of 1o years since my filing date... bankruptcy is cleared from my credit report. Score jumped 85. I'm up to 810 now.

To all those starting this process... hang in there, the time will come. It's a long road but you'll get there slow and steady.

810? Wow thats really great. Im in the process of rebuilding credit post recent discharge.

Can you describe a bit more your credit rebuilding story? How many cards did you get post discharge? Did you mix in some installment loans (personal, auto)? House? etc
