    when will discharge show?

    Hi Everyone,
    From your own experiences- how long did it take for your credit report to be updated that your BK was discharged?

    I need to get an auto loan- but obviously need to show that i was discharged first.

    Thoughts?
    Filed Pro Se: 10/16/2009
    341 Scheduled: 11/23/2009
    Last Day for Objections: 1/22/2010
    Discharged: 1/28/2010

    The discharge may take a week or so........however.......if you need an auto loan, print out the order of discharge and that will suffice if you're going to be using the dealer to acquire the financing.
    Bankruptcy History:
    Chapter 7 filed - 10/12/2005 - Asset
    Discharged - 02/16/2006
    Case Closed - 11/08/2007

      My discharge showed up on my credit report before I got the actual discharge from the court.

      Discharged - 1/4/2010

        Mine showed up the next day on my credit report. but it could take a week as well as i heard that happen to some people.
