I have used the Capital One Blank Check twice now Post BK Ch 7 discharge, and the process has been very smooth. First car I bought 4 mos post discharge, applied online was instantly approved up to 21k at 12.6 percent. I went to the dealer, bought the pre owned car, didnt allow him to pull my credit and went on with my life. After 14 months in that loan, decided to get something with lower miles. I applied last week for another blank check and was originally approved for 30k at a higher rate 13.2, though my credit was better now(632 at time of pull) to when I applied early 2012. I called, spoke with 2 managers/underwriters, and they lowered the rate to 9.49. I then went to the dealer, told him the rate, and said only pull if you think you can beat that. He came back with 8.99 through Capital One.
