Renting a condo or apt after discharge?

How difficult will it be with my BK discharged and my foreclosure starting?

Should I move one month before the sale date so that when I apply I can truthfully say I have not been foreclosed on?

Yes!!! I got an apartment, a very nice one in a nice area. They require at least 1.5 months in advance. Some may require 2. I spoke with multiple apartment companies, and most were like this for people who had bankruptcy. I even told them I had not made a mortgage payment in 6 months, because I knew that would show up. I guess in my area so many people have left the state, that many nice apartments are vacant, at a good price. Maybe you should save up while your are in foreclosure, and wait until the sheriff's sale. I made the mistake of moving out before the discharge, and now I learn that I could have stayed there another 4 months rent free, as it will just go into foreclosure June 1. I am still responsible for my condo dues, even though I am long gone.
