I kept my house through the BK, doing a ride-thru. But am considering walking away in the next year or so.
I was wondering if anybody has tried to purchase a house on a land contract after a BK. Sellers are desperate to sell, and with a proven work history and good credit (other than the BK), I suspect it may be possible.
So I am wondering if anyone here has tried this? Or even just thoughts on this. I would think (again, guessing) that after purchasing via land contract, after a couple years that a refinance would be possible.
