Well here we are a few weeks later. We decided to stay put where we are, and attempt a cash out re-fi. I finally got a call last Friday saying we have been approved - pending adequate appraisal which has been ordered. AND by Wells Fargo no less. Go figure??
The processor at Wells Fargo told me to be expecting a call from the appraiser to set up a date/time. She indicated she thought he would call me within the hour. So far, I haven't heard a peep... Is that unusual??
Rate will be 4.5% fixed for 15 years. Just rec'd our discharge from our 13 on 4/9/10.You can't have your cake and eat it too. But you can dip your finger in the bowl and lick the icing
