    ANother FHA Approval question

    Hopefully someone can assist.

My wife and I owe taxes from year 2008, which obviouslly survived our bankruptcy. There are no liens or judgements on our credit reports for this, as we just set up an installment aggreement with them on a Monthly Basis.

My question: Seeing as this isn't a lien or judgement and only an installment agreement, would this need to be paid in full before we can get approved for FHA? Or, would we be fine?

My guess is you would be fine, how would they even know about it if there is no lein?

Lots of people pay taxes on installment, its not really a credit issue in my opinion. But I can't know for sure, I have never seen any evidence of installment plans being an issue.

agreed, if there is no lien, no judgment and it is not showing up on credit then it would be hard for an underwriter to even know about it. If the payment is taken directly from you paycheck they may notice it.

Tell the loan officer about it and they'll let you know if it needs to be disclosed.
