Success with USDA Mortgage

Have you done the pre-qual step? Was this packet just to see if you qualify based on information that you provide? Or have you already done that and are filling out the full application?

We sent in the pre-qual about 3 weeks ago. We got the full loan application (with no pre approval included) saying they needed ALL information to qualify us. We sent in all taxes, bk discharge papers, income and bank records, landlord and employment records, all that good stuff. Last week they sent another letter asking for the W2s & the full bk paperwork. We sent those in Friday, so we are hoping we get some news this week. They have been having a pretty quick turn around on informing us of everything. When hubby talked to them Friday, the lady said we were pre-qualified, but then said they hadn't determined if we were or not...so who knows. There is only ONE house in our area that qualifies and is in our price range. We love it too!
