Background:
We filed 9/05
Case Closed 1/13/06
Sold House 1/27/06
(we reaffirmed the loan, house sold after 2 DAYS on the market!)
GMAC could not report mortgage payments from 9/05 until 2/06.
We close in less than 48 hours.
Broker calls, bank wants transaction history from GMAC for July 05 to Dec 05. Broker calls GMAC, GMAC says OK, we'll mail it in 3-5days. Broker gets them to agree to fax 10-48 hours. Broker calls me to call GMAC to have them fax immideately. They tell me 10-48, I tell them NO, now. GMAC says OK I'll put a rush on it.
Broker will start calling GMAC in an hour if it is not in their office.
We're still waiting on the sellers bank for the exact pay-off to determine the exact dollar we will need at close.
This is all normal closing stuff but normally we've been so out of the loop we just didin't know it was going on. This time we're pro-active and in the middle of everything and it's just like ACK!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure MTG_Broker can verrify this all just normal stuff.
