    Credit Report

I started disputing information on my CR since my BK13 was discharged in May 2006 ( filed 5/2003). My Transunion report went from reporting my BK as Responsibility: Joint Estimated date that this item will be removed: 4/2010
To now saying Responsibility: Contractually Liable Debt Estimated date that this item will be removed: 05/2013.

I am not sure why the bankruptcy information changed as I did not dispute the actual bankruptcy, I only disputed how some things were being reported (credit cards showing balance due when they were included in the BK). Does anyone know what this means???

I don't quite understand the comment on your credit report, but BK's can be reported for up to 10 years.

One thing that seems contradictory to me is....the credit report also reads: The following items obtained from public records appear on your report. You may be required to explain public record items to potential creditors. Any bankruptcy information will remain on your report for 10 years from the date of filing. Unpaid tax liens may generally be reported for an indefinite period of time depending on your state of residence. Paid tax liens may be reported for 7 years from date of payment. All other public record information, including discharged Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and any accounts containing adverse information, remain for up to 7 years. . In one place it says the BK will stay on my credit report for up to 10 yrs...but then it also says that CH 13 BK that are discharged will remain for 7 yrs.

Also......the CR has the correct address for my bankruptcy court but it lists an incorrect telephone number? Is that worth disputing or will they just think I am being picky?
