We noticed that Transunion is reporting an account as charged off. This account which was a credit card was current up to the time we filed our bankruptcy and was included in our schedule. This account should read included in bankruptcy with a zero balance. The other credit bureaus are reporting correctly on this account. What is the best way to deal with this with Transunion? We already made some disputes for minor things on other accounts with Transunion and they ended up deleting some those accounts for no reason at all. We never asked them to delete those accounts. So we are afraid they will make more of mess with this dispute. Should we write them with our own letter or use the preprinted forms they offer (which we used on the other previous disputes)? What kind of documentation should we send if any? Also, what happens if they don't correct the mistake what is our recourse? Any help in this would be great!

Tansunion Reporting Incorrect!!!!!!

Those crapheads can't get anything right. In our case, DW's account on TU has her name listed with a 'Jr.' suffix...I didn't know females could be Jr. / Sr.....chuckle, chuckle....and they insist she has to send 'proof' documents to fix it.
Continue disputing as 'reporting incorrectly' due to bk...sometimes they have to look at it three times to get it right. I wouldn't use their letters - use the ones here in the sticky forum on letters.
