Hi everyone! As you all know I was discharged from my chapter 7 in December. So when I applied for the orchard mastercard a few weeks ago I was very excited when I was approved. Well it came in the mail today and now im so scared of getting myself into another mess. I know its only a 500 dollar limit but its still scary.Does anyone have any tips or advise that they could give me? I would really appreciate any help at all. Thanks!

It is scarey, Saucey.
You need to figure out a plan that will work for you for rebuilding.
Maybe charge something you normally buy each month. Like a tank of gasoline, a few groceries, or your prescriptions. Set aside the money for when the bill comes and pay in full. After a month or 2 of using the card, Orchard will report OK, OK, OK every month and "Pays as Agreed" to the CRA's whether you charge anything or not.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

I totally understand how you feel...
Hi saucey,Yeah I know what you mean about being scared.I filled out two credit applications and got down to the bottom of the page and instead of pressing 'submit' I pressed 'Cancel'...I was too scared. Not about wether I got approved or not but of getting right back into the same mess I just got out of.I'm just not brave enough to apply for credit again so soon....Originally posted by saucey View PostHi everyone!
