    Is it a Procedural Request???

Okay, about my ropes end with TU. I've disputed twice now that two BOA accounts should not be showing a BALANCE on my reports if they were IIB. They just came back again this AM showing a balance/charge off. It's showing a total balance of something like 6k which is obviously wrong.

They've now come back with it twice, what is the correct terminology I need to use? Is it called a procedural request?

Incidentally scores jumped about 50 points post discharge, so it does make a difference.

Remind us again, what were the accounts for? I will have to do some research to see what your next move is. Hopefully someone else on this forum will have more insight.

You may want to try browsing through this forum, http://www.myfaircredit.com/forum/index.php they are more dedicated to credit reporting issues. Just be aware, that some of our members who have registered over there found their members to be somewhat rude towards those with bankruptcy issues, so just be forewarned.

You dispute them as 'not coded correctly'

FWIW, a procedural request is a debtors right under the fair credit reporting act. It's a written request asking the CRA to document HOW and WHO verified the information. I'm still figuring out where I go with the information from there, but I got tied up doing chores around the house and will report back later
