WaMu - Reporting experience?

    WaMu - Reporting experience?

    I got approved for a no-fee WaMu Mastercard ($2k) - almost a month ago. So far, it isn't reporting - other than the inq on TU. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes for them to start reporting, and do they report to all 3 cra's?

    It can take a couple of months for a new LOC to show up on your Credit Reports. Generally, tho, the reporting will be retro-active back to when the acct was opened.

    All tho, not always. Sometimes you'll see on Credit Bureau reporting a month off of the other 2. Or one will show the LOC from the month it was opened and the other 2 will be a month later.

    Like with BK,......... Be patient. It will come.

      Poor me,

      Did you use the orchard card first? I am trying to rebuild, but I had to pay an annual fee to get the orchard card and it is only for 300.00. I would like to get a Wamu card eventually but do not know how long it takes. I made a couple of purchases on orchard and plan to pay off next month just to rebuild.

        No. I actually bk'd an Orchard AND a Providian account, so I wuz kinda skeptical about approval. But I've done a fair amount of cleanup, and have since gained a Hooters and a car loan, and have kept everything current. My TU was over 670, so I went for it and got an online approval.

        Waited two weeks and DW applied, but she got the 'can't approve online' message - she's got better scores than mine, still wtg to hear from them on her app. I'm about 1 year post discharge, fwiw.
