Two weeks ago I applied online for this card and at the end it said that there was technical difficulties. No info on acceptance or denial. I tried to apply again and it prompted me that I had an app. pending already. I am over a year from discharge and I need to build up my credit. Should I have got a notice, card, or email by now?Anyone have an email address for them? Thanks

Did you try to contact them by phone? You should have received (or may receive) something (the card or denial letter).
One thing about First Premier.....the high fees. Since you've been discharged for over a year, have you tried other CC's.......one's without those fees?Last edited by BassBoy; 03-21-2007, 06:30 AM.Bankruptcy History:

For rebuilding credit a securing card is usually the first step. The best card secured cc I have found is the one from First National Bank of Omaha. The opening amout is $500, but the annual fee if only $20. They report to all three CRAs each month.
After a few months of good reports on a secured card to the CRAs, then the regular no fee credit cards will become available. For any of these cards pay off the balance in full each month or you will be back in the soup again.

I tried one card, can't remember the name, a few months back and got denied. I need a used car now so I am hesitant to take the chance and run up the inquiry hits. Maybe after the car. Can you apply for cards ( like Capital One) or others that you had included in the bk ? Anyone in the Newburyport, Ma. are have some tips to get a car around our area that will be willing to help out. My wife has great credit and she is willing to cosign if need be, but preferabley not. Thanks. P.S. At this point I hope FP does NOT send me their card!
