Prior to executing our BK plan, our scores were 700-710. In the few months leading up to filing, our scores dropped to the 550s. 3 weeks after discharge, our scores are 618-625.

Before my being laid off it was between 756-780, I haven't checked it recently but am quite sure that it is probably around 500.

My score was about 700 before I stopped paying a year ago. Filed today and it is 590. The credit report my lawyer ran said the score would go up to 665 post BK. I was surprised that it would be that high so soon.

We were 750 and 725. Our court date for Chapter 13 is March 12. We've not been paying on accounts since October. I checked it recently and it was 650. I expect it to get much worse before it gets better. We are saving like mad the money that used to go towards debt. We will rebuild our credit, but will try to not use it at all. I haven't used a credit card in almost 5 months and I find it totally liberating. Also, I no longer feel bad about saying, sorry, I can't do that. I can't afford it at the moment.

I chose to do my credit repair on my own. Because im frugal, and I like educating myself to do things on my own as i did. I got two judgements removed, after my bankruptcy most of my accounts did not show included in my bankruptcy. I got all of my accounts included except my student loan. I still have a tax lien, and I just got an unsecured credit card this month and it has not reported yet but once it does i expect it to affect my scores in a few months. its just a small credit line from capital one.
Dont be discouraged to do your credit repair yourself its not hard, i have had a few things come up since bankruptcy us bank so my account to a collection agency, i had to handle that. Some things have disputed have come back but its a long ordeal that takes time. I thought about letting a company repair my credit to get me on track but i have done hours and hours of research and everything they can do i can do myself. and some of the sites give promises i dont see as being realistic. I do hope to have all of my scores above 650-700 by the end of the year though.
good luck to you all be positive and stay focused. Getting good credit takes time patience and persistance.

March of this year my score was 721.
1 dilenguency dropped my score to: 599 as of June 2008.
That 1 dilenguency dropped my score almost automatically way down, and then cc's started lowing my credit lines, and closing account that I was not active.
Now--who knows, I am afraid to look!

I tried to buy a car in Oct 07 and I was told my credit score was like 389 or so. According to truecredit.com my scores are TU-626, EX-508, EQ-604. I was just discharged last week. I have a lot to fix on Experian and a little less to fix on the other two. Slowly but surely has become my mantra.
