Truecredit.com - Is at least TransUnion score FICO???

Just curious...

Since TrueCredit.com is a TransUnion company, is the TransUnion score you receive on their program a true FICO score? I know the Experian and Equifax scores are FAKOs but thought TU could be an actual FICO. Has anyone checked their TrueCredit TU score against their TU score through myfico.com?

No - I don't believe it is.

EQ is the only cra known to actually post their FICO score. I have a WAMU card and can see my TU FICO on thier site - My True Credit/TU score is 52 points higher than my WAMU TU FICO.

Use the monitoring service primarily for activity monitoring, and look to the scores as 'indicators'. I suggest purchasing your FICO's once or twice a year until you've got things where you want them.

Thanks! I used to have access to the Providian FICO service with my card (and husband's) but since they're IIB they don't let us in anymore...

Wonder if they'll approve us for another one after discharge? Probably not~
