I frequently check out www.whogavemecredit.com to see what cards people get approved for at what credit score and BK status, it helps because it shows you some idea of whether or not it's worth the credit points to even apply (obviously, I'm not going to apply for a card where everyone with a bk and score near mine was denied) I see a lot of time in the notes sections, people write "denied at first, call back for reconsideration, offerred $_____ credit limit.
