That is what I am seeing also. There is little to no recourse for the people without paying these ridiculous fees. If it is incorrect the consumer has to pay to have it corrected when the company that reported it wrong should be paying.Originally posted by sandhall View Postdisputing is free LOL The whole system gets me they are private company paid good money to report about how we pay by the company we pay our hard earned dollars to. The company I work with pays 1200 a month to report abt our customers payment history then us the consumer doesn't have much recourse when it is reported incorrectly or the company is verifying it the way it is reported yes I know we could file a complaint with FCRA but there needs to be a better way for all this since a private company that outsources to other places then the US is what keeps getting richer and the ones having the issue is having to pay them to make it a little easier for them to keep $$ in their pockets each month
I have never dabbled at any of it & I can see how people are in binds because of it, then they take them to the cleaners one more time by charging them again for this score. It does have me a little bit angry which is why I am going to lose it when/if I ever call for the score.
Sure, you dont or cant pay, get a bad score. You pay you get a good score. yet not being allowed to see that without paying (at least once a year) is robbery. When someone else tells it wrong & you have to pay to see it & go thru the whole tuxedo change, that is a big problem the way this is set up.
Good thing disputing is still FREE
