Item dispute on Credit Report. Wait until discharge?

I got an alert that something potentially negative got reported to the credit bureaus.

MACYS/GEMB
Discharged in Bankruptcy.

The only problem is I did not have a balance with these guys, and in fact the current reports states that:

MACYS/GEMB
Balance = 0.00
Credit line closed - consumer request - reported by subscriber

what gives??

My wife has an account with Macy's that is included in the bankruptcy, but my name is not on that card.

Should I dispute this now or wait until the discharge goes through.

I would wait until discharge, but you need to do what you see fit.

If it's not yours, then dispute it and get it removed immediately.
