Question on equifax reporting

Hi all,

I just pulled my equifax report. I have 4 open accounts. (WHich two of are incorrect, as I got letters from the companies stating they were closed) But the bigger issue is 7 "negative" accounts.

Are they considered negative because of the BK? Or because reporting of late payments? They do show IIB with $0 balance. I did notice a couple showed late payments, BUT... never had a late payment prior to the filing.

Just curious.

For every account that is 0iib, they will count as a negative, so if there are 7 accounts that were in your BK, that's your negatives. And yes, late charges/missed payments are also negative. Anything derogatory = negative accounts
