    Husband's Credit Report

Just pulled husband's credit report, and back in June we had tried to get a car in his name and he couldn't qualify well because of back child support owed. Well I just pulled his credit reports again last week, and over half the accounts that were listed on there 3 months ago are just gone, completely not there, and by the way we haven't disputed anything yet on his. I wonder if they will reappear? If not he has pretty good credit now.

See that's what I was talking about.....sometimes accounts just "fall off". Years ago when my hubby filed for bk the account just "felloff'> I was wondering if this is a usual?

By the way what kinds or account were they?? CC or medical or what? Just wondering..

    good luck

Negative accounts normally come off after 7 years.

I figured out today that Chrysler is no longer reporting our truck loan since we filed BK. Fine by me-that means our many late payments are not showing!
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

actually they were the child support one, a student loan one (very shocking on both these), and a couple cc's. All pretty old, but never heard of child support debt, or student loans ever falling off. We were in for the long haul on those so we thought, not sure if they will come back though.
