Where can i get a secured loan?

That is so odd I would have thought that your Credit Union would have let you do a secured loan. I remember 6 months after my discharge I went to my credit union to try and get an unsecured loan but I wasn't approved. The first thing they pulled was my credit score which was good in their eyes but when they pulled the report and it said "bankruptcy" they turned me down. They told me to try again in 6 months. I don't know if that was just a bunch of hogwash and they probably would deny me again.
I had been a member with them for almost 10 years and they were not included in my bankruptcy. I don't know what your relationship with your credit union is. I still find it odd since it is a secured loan, they would put your money down as collateral and they have nothing to lose. Next time I go to the cu I will inquire about that.
