Chase raised my credit limit to 27.24%

From 15% to 27%. I don't carry balances but people who do are getting screwed.

I have been using my Chase card quite a bit due to furnishing the house, Xmas and a recent vacation. Last week my company announced layoffs in my department so All my credit cards are going in the drawer. I like to float my money for a month but if I charge on my debit card it keeps my on top of my spending in stead of behind and if I do get laid off in the future I don't have anything on the cards.

PS...I'm not getting laid off but if the cuts continue then I could be in jeopardy.
