    Credit Goals for 2006

(I thought this would make an interesting thread!)

    1. Reach credit scores of 620-640 by the end of May. (I'm somewhere in the 575-600 range now, I believe.)

    2. Obtain reasonable financing on our house (leasing now) by end of Aug.

    3. Refi for a better rate OR payoff the US Bank car loan by end of Dec.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I think my first goal is to actually pull my credit report...I have been too scared to look since things to a rough turn for me finanically over the summer. I might need some liquid courage to get through this one! It seems like you work so hard to have decent credit score and it goes up in flames so fast!

Win a $200 million plus lottery, take enough to the trustee to pay all of my creditors plus tip him and the atty. and then have enough cash so that cc's and banks will be bending over to lend me money and I won't need it.
Only problem with my goal is that I don't buy lottery tickets. Art

      Echoing voice of former member:
What's the matter with you morons? Don't you know the odds of winning the lottery? You should put that money in something called a "savings Acct". Stupid idiots always dreaming of someone else taking care of your finances, instead of dealing responsibibly with your debts! But go ahead and buy your lottery tickets, because I own the lottery and I make money off of you."
