I've been receiving offers in the mail for credit card offers. I would open them, and rip them up. All of them were for cards requesting high application fees totaling over $200. I just wasn't feeling those offers. Well, today I get home, and what do you know. Another offer. This was from Platinum MC (with FINAL NOTICE on the envelope) offering me a card. I read through the small and fine print, and saw that they would only charge me an annual fee of $59 per year. I had to read it twice, as I was looking for those large amounts that usually come with these offers. Well, to my dismay, nothing of any sort. Ok, I thought, if I apply, I won't get approved anyway. There was an option to apply online, with a 60-sec approval. I said, what have I got to lose. I will likely get denied. Oh my gosh!!! I got approved. It's for a low limit ($300), but who cares. I'm trying to rebuild here. I don't plan on doing anything stupid, just rebuilding so I can get my FICO scores up.

I got that same offer in the mail yesterday. I thought it seemed pretty good too but since it was a MC I was afraid there was some really small print somewhere that might say by accepting the card I agree to pay back what I included in bk. I guess that is not the case. Cool. Too bad mine got shredded and pitched. Maybe I will get a final offer thing like you did.
Way to go!
