    Score Improvements

My pre-BK score was 552 (nov)
    On 4/20 - 553
    On 5/11 - 563
    On 5/26 - 596

What are some of the score changes you've seen personally since filing and discharge? What was the average rate of increase?

I filed Dec 2008, discharged Mar 2009. Here is how my scores have progressed so far. The first six months after discharge I worked hard to clean up reports and I have established some new credit cards/accounts. Sometimes my scores have gone down due to new accounts or inquiries, but the overall trend is up over time. Right now my utilization is higher than I'd like it, but not planning on any large purchases (car, house) for at least a year or two so I am confident my scores will continue to improve and be high enough for a mortgage in a couple years.

      Wow, big improvements.

My Experian is 530...but I don't think it's been updated.

I don't have TU yet. I hate their site and it's trying to give me all 3 credit reports then the score and I don't need all of that.

My scores right after I filed were right under 600 about. Within a month (and vigorous cleanup) they went up into the low 600's. Between months 2 and 6 I got them up to mid 600's. My equifax score remained the lowest and hovered around 604 for many months which annoyed me.

Since about March or April I've seen the most improvement. I've stopped applying for credit now and am letting my credit simmer.

My equifax score is still the lowest but I was pleased that it jumped from 620 to 648 yesterday. My other two scores are in the upper 600's to 700's now.
