Too bad pink has had such a terrible experience with the buy-here pay here place. I was fortunate.

I have had to replace my alternator(which I did myself)--but the car has 128000 miles(only had 50,000 when I got it 1 1/2 years ago lol). things like that are expected. The only other major thing I have had to have done was the valve cover gasket. The shop I get my oil changes at wanted >$150 to do that. I did it myself. Much cheaper.

Pink--is there not a place you can take it to to get it looked at? My shop only charges $29.99 for a diagnosis and estimate.
I usually get them to diagnose and then do the job myself if I am able. It is amazing what you can do with a few tools and a good repair manual.....
