Its hard to say-but HH/Orchard has a preapproval app where it tells you which card you can most likely be approved for before it pulls the full credit report. If that comes back w/ secured only, you could always work on clean up for a few months and try again.

Well I got both before I was discharged lol. And according to the website home page links that I posted before, they now say its a 'guaranteed offer'. The guaranteed offer is that before running your credit, they let you know whether you can apply for the secured or unsecured. I like that, personally.
