Heyya CCs - yeah, we are on that list come to think of it. Hmmm wonder how they got around it? Looks like I'll have to redo it or at the very least, check into it. We also have the other thingy on our credit reports so that no one can do pulls on it unless we authorize it. Did both of those a few years back.Originally posted by CCsAreEvil View PostUnless you are on the do not call registry (which I am).. my mailbox has been pretty empty lately (so nice!). This is the first time I've known of credit card companies charging that much interest. However, I've heard and known of payday loan, car title loan companies out there charging 120% or even higher (not sure if 200% was real or not) interest is pretty usual.Originally posted by Pandora View PostI just got one the other day also! LOL Funny - First time in years I've received a credit card offer, and its after filing BK! They must have a list of people who've filed and just do a mass mailing - odd.
and... 60-79% interest rate?! That should be illegal - talk about highway robbery at its best

I have a Payday Loan Store loan on my Ch 7. Original loan was for $800 with a repayment of $924 due in 21 days....the loan was due to be paid back in 2008. I wonder what the total due is now - 780 days late???!!! I had to put "amount unknown" on my schedule.Originally posted by wnguyen View PostThis is the first time I've known of credit card companies charging that much interest. Capital One also denied me like 2 times before they finally gave me one... the reasons were "previous delinquency with Capital One" (cause I included them in my BK)... but for some reason they changed their minds about 3 months later ... lol.BK Ch 7 Discharged 09/2009 | Anything I say can and should be used as friendly advice and sharing of experiences with an unbiased viewpoint.
