    Easy cards to get

I'm just over a year from my BK7. Just thought I would share.

CapitalOne is OK, but they charge $39/yr for their card marketed to poor credit risks like us. After almost a year of that card, I chucked it after I got approved for a FREE card from Barclays Bank & Discover.

True on the annual fee, but for me 1st year was waived, so by the time it comes up I might be able to upgrade

One must have "excellent" credit for that.

Interesting! I went ahead and applied but was told that I could not apply because I had already applied for a CC from CapitalOne in the last 45 days (I am not so sure about this, so I will call.)

I found it interesting that one of the questions was how much investment assets I have. As I am a high roller ($180K in IRA), this should help my application.
