    I don't get it....

I signed up with NationalCreditReport.com a couple months ago. I thought these agencies were supoosed to give you updated credit reports. Every time I log on, I still get the credit report from March '06. How is this supposed to help me keep track of what is happening? I have the monitoring, and I've gotten a couple alerts, but, again, if I cannot see an updated credit report, what good do the alerts do me? I don't know which CRA is reporting the info in the alerts, as the alerts don't tell you that.

How do these places work? Are there any which give updated reports? I'm not paying 12.99 a month for outdated information.

I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I think its been said on here that transunion is the only one that shows your reports in real time.

I use www.truecredit.com and I am able to update all three of my credit reports every 24 hours. I really like it.

Only bad thing is the scoreing system they use is very innacurate. If you want good scores go to www.myfico.com - but its expensive

Alot of the services may say unlimited access to your report, but that could mean unlimited access to the one you pulled when you signed up.

Roadrunner...I think that is what happened with our reports through Privacy Matters...they never seem to update anything and their scores were hundreds less than FICO...I realize they were expected to be less than that but theirs were outrageous...when I called their hand on it they said they combine the 3 scores...no way they did that. I cancelled them after the first month. ALso, they dont follow up your emails either. I wanted a service that updated and would allow me to monitor my husband's and my credit reports...so far nothing I use works...any ideas anyone? And I know myfico.com is expensive...not going with that one - cant afford it right now.

            How I track

            Hello,

Maybe this will help. I signed up with equifax which gives me unlimited access to my equifax report and lets me know if anything changes through alerts. I am not tracking my score right now but think this is a good way to get started. I believe you can also upgrade to three reports. I am paying about 6.95/month. You can check it out on equifax.com. It is also a very easy website to use.

            Jeff.

              I strongly suggest using www.truecredit.com.

You can pull a new report every single day, and it's completely up to date.... it's only 14.95 a month.
