    Would you dispute these items?

I'm not to the point of cleaning up IIB, just the regular inconsistencies.

    Would you dispute the following:

    * HELOC being reported as "Credit Line Secured" by Experian

    * Payment history reported as unknown for some months and perfect on all others

Also, if you paid after something was charged off, what is the correct way for it to be coded?

About the HELOC, it would be secured since it is tied to your home equity. About accounts with some months showing 'unknown' I doubt there is anything that can be done about it. Creditors are not required to update/report each month.

For paid after charge off - I have one of those also! It was well over a year before filing, and I obviously was not even considering bankruptcy at that point! Used income tax $$ to pay it. It still shows as a chargeoff, but with $0 balance and in the detail it shows as paid. I've disputed, thinking that it should no longer be a chargeoff, but no luck on getting it changed. From what I've read, the CO status is the last one the creditor had and once it gets to a CO status it has no where else to go regardless of whether you pay it or not.
