I had a Discover that I closed (and reports as closed by comsumer) a year before my ch7. I have read online that they are not bk friendly but might it be possible that since I had an account with them in good standing before they might approve me again?

Nothing is 100% impossible. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask if you could reopen your old credit line.

Discover is known to be VERY VERY VERY bk unfriendly. I had account that I paid off and closed (in good standing, at my request) in June of 05that I called to see if I could reopen. As JeepMom said, the worst they could do is tell me no, right? Well they said yes, I updated my address and phone # and will get my replacement card next week!!!!! I am in the rebuilding my credit game now!!!!!!!!
