    There is your misconception--right there!!!

You know what my cc debt is? 10K
You know what my medical bills are? 25K
    Plus, I lost my job

Job loss, divorce, death, and medical reasons are the three primary causes of BK--only about 10-12% are financial mismanagement!!!

      EXCELLENT ANONYMUSE!!!!!!

Now mike9302, before you claim what our financial woes were or will be, you'd better make damn sure you have the proof to back it up. Anonymuse provided prrof with the forum articles, now go do the same before you come back here with your claims and/or assumptions.

I paid my credit card IN FULL, EVERY TIME since I was 13 years old (yes, I had one then, but it was since I travelled a lot without family). Twenty three years later, everything went wrong in my life and now I'm filing. That 780 FICO was pretty nice to have! Can you tell that I dislike when people make assumptions about me?

And you should dislike. Without any proof of those claims, it's frivilous BS.

You people are just addicted to credit cards like a drug addict is to drugs. See you people again in 7 years when your filing again because you screwed yourself up with playing with fire.

Now that I am saving my money and debt free if I get laid off again sure it will be tough but I will have money saved up that will make it easier plus I wont have to worry about Visa breathing fire down my neck. Credit cards got you people to bankruptcy and now you are free and clear of debt but you want to run right back to it. Using credit means you are buying things you cant afford and I bet most of what you buy on the cards are not even a necessity. Sure some may be like groceries but most people wind up spending more with a card than paying cash. Cash is the way to go and you folks trying to get credit and starting to head right down the same road that screwed you up in the first place.
Hey mike9302. I normally just lay low here on the forum, but I just couldn't resist this thread. When I filed my BK7 last year, I did not have one ounce of credit card debt, or any credit cards for that matter. I relied on cash only. But, I had a child born with medical problems that lasted over 3 years. Now, if you will, calculate over 15 (way over) surgeries in that 3 plus years, and tell me how it is possible to pay over $249,719.00 in medical bills and expenses. Yeah, I have a good job, great insurance, yada, yada, yada, but stuff adds up. So, before you start trolling the boards talking what you really don't know about me and my friends on this board, or as you referred to as you people, think twice. I don't know what your motive is, and I really don't think I want to know either. But on this forum, WE ARE A FAMILY!!! We believe in helping each other out. I've been discharged from my BK7 since October, but I still read this forum everyday. People here have established close knit relationships, and we don't need any NEGATIVE energy coming from you or anybody else for that matter.

Now if you don't mind, I have things to do!!! Good day to you!!!!

SO NOW YOU ARE TICKING ME OFF WITH YOUR COMMENTS. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ADDICTED TO CREDIT CARDS, AND I NEVER WILL BE. I'VE ALWAYS PAID MY BILLS. WHY DON'T YOU GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. TALK TO SOMEONE WHO CARES. YOU MIGHT SEE YOURSELF IN 7 YEARS FILING FOR BANKRUPTCY AGAIN, BUT YOU WON'T SEE ME.

WHY DON'T YOU START A FORUM OF YOUR OWN. HOW ABOUT [email protected].

I second that forum idea. Is there a way to have Mike banned from this forum? if so that is what needs to happen. Why are you so worried about what we are doing or have done it is none of your business. you need to attend your own financial affairs.

                      AHA!!

There's your proof right there, BassBoy!!

You were soooooooo right!! A TROLL!!

If he really knew anything about BK, he'd know it isn't 7 years when you can file again.

And as an FYI for you Mickey dear, CC's weren't our problem either.

Yes we're filing to discharge CC debt. But our real problems were 1) a house we couldn't sell that bled us dry 2) after a job loss with 3) months of unemployment and 4) a new job in a different State that required we move the family.

                        So there! HA!

                        WRONG AGAIN, CHUMP!
