    Target People are nasty too!

I applied for a Target Red Card this time (got turned down for visa before). I figured - what the heck - and sent a follow-up email, asking why some people with lower credit scores than mine were approved, and I was denied the first time. I explained that I am rebuilding my credit, have over 20 years on my job, my only debt is my $300 car payment, blah blah blah.

I got a really nasty email in return telling me that I shouldn't concern myself with other people's credit reports and that if I want to rebuild my credit, go talk to my bank.

I wrote them back and said thanks for nothing - I'll remain with Wal-Mart.

    What jerks!

That kind of response to your question was totally uncalled for and I would at the very least report her attitude to her superior. I have not had any issues with their customer service in their credit card division but I have had "words" with a person in their HR office. She was rude and arrogant and yes I did report her. I was reasonable until she got insulting. No curse words because I have more class than that but I was emphatic...

I would write a PFB letter, and then get the fax # to the headquarters of Target, and let them know what their customer service reps are doing.

You asked a VERY legitimate and honest question, and I feel that they have wronged you.
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!
