When should I start rebuilding & Fixing

I have my 341 meeting on July 7th and wanted to know if it's too early for me to start correcting minor errors on my reports like addresses and name spellings etc. Also I'm reading how some people are buying houses like 3 months out of bankruptcy and I want to find out what steps you took to get to that point. I would really love to have a KB Home built and it takes 6 months to build so I'm trying to figure out when I should start doing everything. If anyone has any experience on this please help me out! Thanks for all the information all ready out here!! I love you guys!!!

I started to dispute once our 341 was over. I did correct address, and job history, but did little good for most of our accounts, due to us NOT being discharged yet. We had to dispute some a few times, to get it right, so I guess it would have just saved it if we would have waited? I dont know. It is July 2006, and we are finally done. Now just sitting back and rebuilding.

    good luck

I started right before my 341 and as of Monday all of my bills are now showing a 0.00 balance. Just worry the heck out of em until all of your bills are showing no balance. It even made my credit scores go up about 40 points. Good luck!

First of all, I don't recommend disputing ANYTHING until the BK is discharged. You never know if it is going to be dimissed, changed or disputed for any reason.

Secondly, NEVER EVER EVER send the CB's any information about the bankruptcy. If they can't find it, then they must delete it. It is not your job to do their job; it is their job to report correct, up to date, and ACCURATE information.

Definitely wait until your discharge! Then start writing those letters and online disputes!

Take your advertising elsewhere please. We have enough mortgage brokers here who *think* they can help already.
