What was your score to get airtran card? I hope to get discharged soon and would like to have a card to start rebuilding.

    Thanks!

They pull TU which I'm under 600. But I don't know if this is easy to get as your 1st card out of bk.

Juniper denied me a week ago, reason high number of accounts recently opened. I applied for SeaMiles and US air. I'll reapply in couple of month.

They denied me too initially, but a few months later and its all good. The next card I am wanting to get on reapplication is providian. I don't even really want the hooters card anymore... 28% interest? Thats just crazy.

Mine doesn't have any annual fee so it's good but 24.95% interest rate. Well I don't intend to keep any balance anyway so that's good. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in prime land.

We know why the guys on the board want to keep that one--just to see the reaction on people's faces when they go to use it.

I'm a guy. I don't want that card in my wallet, I've never even been to hooters. Nor do I care for strip clubs. Theres absolutely no benefit for me to pay money for a tease when I could have a real relationship with a real woman and have the real thing...

I hope you realize I was saying this all in jest. Didn't mean to offend.

                      Of course

And... I have an update. I can't remember the last time I applied for the hooters card. I went and checked the mail today and theres a hooters card there in my name lol. I opened it up, and the activation sticker covers up the 'hooters' logo, and it just looks like a black credit card. So I'm leaving the sticker on!

More conservative people (myself included) equate it on the same level as a strip club.

It's a bunch of women in shorty shorts, a lot of makeup, who are there to "entertain" customers.... sounds like a strip club to me!
