My discharge was March 1st, I started working the 'repair job' in April...pulled my FICO's in early May for baseline...as of Friday my average score (across all 3 ) is up 98 points...have most of them finally reporting correctly as IIB. Got two dropped, and will start contesting via the "how'd you verify?" route next to try and get more drops. Have 2 new TL's reporting positive, time for another mini app spree, and may finally have a kinfolk ready to add me as an AU....my goal is solid 675+ by year end, my average is 606 right now.

how exactly does "how'd you verify?" work with these credit bureaus?
how would this system possibly drop reports?...

just curious as to how it works, i may try that too...

Well from what I've read here, sometimes you see no change, or maybe questionable changes that leave the disputed item still reporting incorrectly. You essentially dispute the dispute, writing the CRA to explain or verify how they obtained the verified information...if they can't substantiate it within 30 days then you have grounds to have the item deleted. I believe that some of my items haven't been properly verified, so that's the route I'm taking next, work on deleting inaccurates that have 'been verified and remain'.

                For Nascar20, EQ561, EX 610, TU647. On April 1 I was 422, 545, & 557 respectively.

Does anyone know what is about average right after filling? I filed on 07/14/2006.

On 07/21 they were: TU 525, EX 512, EQ 533

Today they are: TU 532, EX 510, EQ 540

Experian I took another hit because one of my creditors is ignoring the automatic stay and only reporting to EX.

Everyone has an average score, but there's no such thing as an average to compare your's against. Everyone's scores are more or less their own, based off your habits & circumstances of your behavior during your credit life to this point. If yours isn't what you want it to be, you have the ability to change it - follow what you learn here and it will get better.

Or worse - - but that's up to you!
