If you don't want to read all this....please read bottom sentence. This just explains what might happen if trying to dispute with Experian!
I am on truedcredit.com..I have tried to dispute with Experian online and they are telling me I cannot do this because my personal info is incorrect and unless I have a file #. The only way to get a file # is to get my credit report from Experian themselves. I cannot dispute in mail..because they do not have my personal info correct on file. They were suppossed to correct this last year...and apparently have not.
I got online and paid for Experian credit report (after truecredit.com gave me a credit cause I couldn't do it with them)..when I got my report it didn't have a file #. I called the CS # and they told me they are not directly Experian but do provide the credit report for them.
I went to annualcreditreport.com and freecreditreport.com and cannot get free reports cause I had these in 2005...freecreditreport.com will ONLY give 1 free credit report in a lifetime...and Annualcreditreport.com apparently doesn't give free credit reports annually. I have to pay again. I paid $8 for credit through Experian...and again cannot dispute online and have no file# cause they are not directly Experian.
The only way to get a report/file# is to order through Experian auto service and you have to pay. NONE of these companies...have Experian # to talk to them direclty...the only way you can talk to Experian directly..is to have a report/file #. I cannot get this # unless i pay once again to get the # and wait for it to be mailed to me.
Does anyone know if Experain Customer Service LIVE agents exist and what the # might be. I am almost bald from pulling out all of my hair.
