T-Mobile is the worst! New Credit Ruined... Over a 5 year old $85 collection account

Went to check my experian and equifax reports today. Equifax down 120 points, Experian down 60. Why? Because all the old t-mobile creditors have come back to try and collect a 5 year old, almost 6 year, collection for $85. I've already been through all this with calling all of them and getting it removed. Now they are pawning off the account to new places again.

How stupid are these people? I've had about a dozen different places try to collect this $85 bill for 5 years. Do I have to worry about this coming back indefinately? I would be willing to spend much more than $85 just to punish these places and make sure they don't get a dime.

How dare they want the money you owe them? Go for it. Hire a lawyer. Spend a few thousand to prove your point. Maybe you'll even get a spot on Dateline.

85 bucks. You could deliver papers for a few weeks, and the whole thing would go away.

You're way out of line. The bill was included in bk. And has gone to multiple places. So you're saying I should pay the same bill over and over again?

I suggest you find a new website to visit.

To me, my peace of mind and serene life is worth way more than $85. If you've already paid it, send them a copy of the canceled check or direct debit.

Something tells me you have neither peace of mind nor a serene life.

Why else do you waste your precious invaluable time on this website.

If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.

            Filingonmyown,
Sorry about what happened. You've came along way don't give up now. I know it is frustrating but you will have to dispute this charge again and this loss of points will corrected itself.

            Ignore the troll!

Don't be so hard on T-Moblie... If it were any other company reprting the $85 debt it would have had the same result. Once it is paid you scorse will bounce back some... Sorry didn't see the IIB...

Well let me put it this way. In my bk filing, I had nearly $40,000 in debt. Mostly medical & 16k of it to Citi. Many small bills. Noone has ever pursued me like the smallest collection I had ever owed: $85 to T-mobile.

Small stuff is like those tiny gnats...

...flying up from the shadows to keep annoying you. And impossible to swat easily. I never had an overdue or unpaid bill before my business failed last year. But a book club (I cancelled it 8 years ago and it kept sending books I returned unopened for several months) sold a $55 bill I didn't owe. That is the only debt I enjoyed including in the BK; the rest I feel necessary, but have regrets over.

Since their IIB, have you shown them a copy of your creditor's matrix as proof that the debt has been discharged? Maybe this collection agency will accept the proof and put an end to these shenanigans.

                      Request a "Validation of Debt."

And remind them that they are violating the law immediately!!!!
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!
